Delivery Process

Once your payment is confirmed, we begin preparing your Dachshund puppy for travel right away. Most puppies are scheduled for delivery the very next day, which means if you complete payment today, your adorable companion will usually arrive by tomorrow evening.

After your delivery is booked, we’ll provide you with a tracking number and complete shipping details so you can monitor your puppy’s journey in real time and be ready to welcome them home.

Shipping Details

Bringing your Dachshund home has never been more seamless. At Miriam Dach Paws, we manage every part of the process to ensure your puppy travels safely, comfortably, and stress-free. Puppies fly in climate-controlled, pressurized cabins inside airline-approved pet carriers.

Before your puppy’s flight, you’ll receive:
Flight number
Arrival time
Reference or airbill ID

For your convenience, you may choose one of the following:
Home Delivery – Your puppy is brought straight to your doorstep.
Airport Pick-Up – You can collect your puppy at the nearest airport using the provided reference number.

Air transport is safe, fast, and fully monitored. Most puppies arrive within 24 hours depending on destination. Families often share how relaxed and curious their puppies are right after landing!

We trust air travel because it is the most efficient and secure option, especially for long-distance customers. Puppies travel in temperature-controlled cabins (never with luggage), and we use custom-fit, airline-approved carriers designed for comfort during the entire flight.

Each crate is clearly marked with LIVE ANIMALS and UP labels. We attach your contact information, destination details, and flight confirmation for extra safety. Prior to shipping, we also introduce your puppy to their travel crate so they feel secure. Puppies are provided with fresh water and food to remain hydrated throughout the trip, even in rare cases of delays.

We continuously monitor weather conditions at both airports and ship only when it is completely safe. Shipping typically operates Monday through Saturday, and we guarantee the safe arrival of your puppy. We will never ship under unsafe weather conditions.

Most puppies adjust quickly after arrival and begin exploring their new home within hours.

Nanny Delivery Service

For families wanting a more personal experience, we offer a Flight Nanny Delivery Service. A professional puppy nanny will accompany your Dachshund in the cabin and personally hand-deliver them to you at the destination airport.

Travel Preparation & Due Diligence

Every shipped puppy receives:

Fresh ice water
Clean,
soft beddingFood (when necessary for lengthy travel)

We partner with reputable airlines such as American Airlines, United Airlines, and Continental Airlines, all of which maintain advanced, climate-controlled areas for transporting live animals.

Health Certificate

All puppies traveling by air come with a mandatory Health Certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian. This certificate confirms that your puppy is:

Healthy
Fit for travel
Free of contagious diseases

This is required by all major airlines to ensure a safe travel environment.

Arrival & Pick-Up Instructions

Please ensure someone is available at home or at the airport when your puppy arrives.

Puppies are typically ready for pick-up one hour after flight arrival.
Bring a valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport) to collect your puppy.

Once your Dachshund has arrived safely, please notify us by phone or email. We also recommend taking your puppy for a vet check-up within 48 hours of arrival.

Our team will reach out 24 hours after delivery to confirm that everything went smoothly and to offer assistance as your new puppy settles into their home.
